Meet Sherri
Hi, I'm Sherri —
and I've seen worse.
I'm a home design consultant with over a decade of experience turning spaces that feel hopeless into homes people actually love living in. I've worked with first-time homeowners, overwhelmed empty nesters, renters stuck in ugly apartments, and everyone in between.
I don't do fancy showrooms or six-figure budgets. I do real rooms, real messes, and real solutions — fast. My clients call me the person who finally made their house feel like home.
Fun fact: I once transformed a living room using only what was already in the house. Zero new purchases. Zero excuses.

Why I started this
I didn't start in a fancy showroom. I started in a 600-square-foot apartment with mismatched furniture, bad lighting, and zero budget — and I figured out how to make it feel like home.
After years of helping friends, neighbors, and eventually strangers transform their spaces, I realized something: most design help is built for people who already have nice things. Nobody was showing up for the rest of us.
Rescue This Home exists for the cluttered, the overwhelmed, the 'I don't even know where to start' crowd. That's my people.
My design philosophy
See the potential, not the problem
Every messy room has a version of itself that works. My job is to find it — fast.
No judgment. Ever.
You don't need to clean before we talk. The mess is the starting point, not the punchline.
Real solutions for real budgets
I'm not here to sell you a $4,000 sofa. I'm here to make what you have — or what you can afford — actually work.
A clear path forward
You'll leave every session with a concrete list of next steps, not a vague mood board and a bill.

What makes this different
Most interior designers want to start fresh. I want to start with what you've got. I specialize in working with existing furniture, tight budgets, awkward layouts, and spaces that feel hopeless. I've never walked into a room I couldn't find something good in — and I've walked into some rooms.
The worst rooms are my favorite rooms. They have the most room to grow.
